‘One Day’ confirmed?

It looks as if we may have confirmation that Anne will be in the upcoming movie One Day.  The Associated Press just released this short statement:

The star of Ella Enchanted and The Princess Diaries will appear in the film adaptation of David Nicholls’ popular novel One Day, about a working-class woman’s romance with a charming rich man, played by Jim Sturgess.

The movie begins filming this summer. It will be directed by Lone Scherfig, an Oscar nominee for An Education.

The project was announced Tuesday by Focus Features and Random House Films, which have a partnership.

I also found an article on upcoming films at hollywoodnews.com and they gave a little bit of info on the plot.

…which will open in the third quarter of 2011. It stars Academy Award nominee Anne Hathaway in a film directed by An Education helmer Lone Scherfig. David Nicholls has completed adapting the screenplay, based on his acclaimed novel of the same name. Emma (Ms. Hathaway) and Dexter meet on the night of their graduation – July 15th, 1988. She is a working-class girl of principle and ambition who dreams of making the world a better place. He is a wealthy charmer who dreams that the world will be his playground. But where will they be on this day next year, and the year after that? Over 20 years, we check in on Emma and Dexter every July 15th, and watch as their friendship ebbs and flows with the passing of the years.

Anne Hathaway: boyfriend’s loves to play dirty

Hollywood Actress Anne Hathaway is in news after it was reported that his actor boyfriend Adam Shulman has stolen an artwork from the Meatpacking District construction site.
Shulman and a friend were caught by a photographer as they went on to steal the artwork painted by street artist Mr. Brainwash aka Thierry Guetta.

Though his girlfriend Anne Hathaway hasn’t made any statement in this matter but it is surely going to hurt her image as her previous relationship with Italian Real Estate developer Raffaello Follieri also didn’t ended well.

Follieri was arrested on the charges of making fraud promises to the investors and stealing their millions to sustain his lifestyle. He also made the investors believed that he has connection with the Vatican.

But Shulman incident is definitely going to be another shocker for her. The Dukes of Hazzards star has been given a warning by Ken Hart, President of H&H Builders the owners of the stolen artwork that he has to return the artwork soon or else they will report the matter to the police.

It seems that Hathaway’s boyfriend’s loves to play dirty and the only person whose image and life will come under media scanner is our sweet little innocent Miss. Hathaway.

Anne Hathaway Admits She Would’ve Done ‘Anything’ To Play Queen In ‘Alice In Wonderland’

Anne Hathaway lends her classic beauty to the March issue of InStyle magazine, as she adorns the cover in a gorgeous purple gown (one that looks eerily similar to Sandra Bullock’s Bottega Veneta Golden Globes stunner) and her radiant, porcelain glow. The actress, who can be seen this Friday in “Valentine’s Day,” discusses her latest role as the White Queen in Tim Burton’s “Alice in Wonderland,” as well as her self-image (she’s incredibly modest) and how she finds balance and happiness.

There is no question that Anne is absolutely gorgeous, but this humble actress doesn’t necessarily think so. “I think I’ve got really weird features. I have very large features on a very small head. But, you know, I’m not going to beat myself up… I look like myself, and I think at the end of the day, as nice as pretty is, authenticity is more important,” she says. Continue reading

Anne Graces InStyle March Issue

I’ve added new cover scan & photoshoot preview of Anne on the next issue of InStyle magazine in March.

Anne Hathaway is picture-perfect on the cover of InStyle magazine’s March 2010 issue.
Here’s what the 27-year-old Alice in Wonderland actress had to share with the mag:
On her appearance: “I think I’ve got really weird features. I have very large features on a very small head. But, you know, I’m not going to beat myself up… I look like myself, and I think at the end of the day, as nice as pretty is, authenticity is more important.”
On playing the White Queen: “When I found out Tim Burton was on, I basically went into the studio and said, ‘I’m here, I want to play the White Queen. I’m just letting you know I will do anything to be in this movie.’”
On planning: “I don’t time anything. I never plan an image I want to project. It’s always very much where I am right now.”

Anne Hathaway to announce Oscar nominations

As Hollywood sits on the edge of its seat to find out this year’s Oscar nominees, the excitement is heightened by the news that Anne Hathaway will be reading them out.

The Devil Wears Prada actress is set to glam-up the nominations, which will be announced on February 2nd.

The hot A-lister will be joined by the not-so-glamorous Academy president, Tom Sherak.

But the bad news for Hathaway is that she’ll have to get up extremely early that day to read the nominations at 5:30am in Los Angeles (1:30pm in the UK).

Nominees will have just over a month after the announcement to plan their outfits, as the actual Academy Awards ceremony takes place on March 7 at the Kodak Theatre in LA.
